About Us
Student Council is a club here at Peachtree Ridge where we encourage participation in our school and help our peers become better leaders. With monthly meetings, we bring our executive board and general members together to discuss our ideas / goals for the school year and the events that are in the process of being planned. Through all of our activities, we strive to make an impact on our school and community.​

We provide many opportunities for our students to get involved at PRHS and the community through volunteering, donations, fundraising, services, etc. As leaders of our school, we hope to make our Student Council a diverse environment where our students and teachers are given the chance to express their passions, share skills / ideas, and make memories with each other as One Ridge.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Student Council is to exemplify the standards of truth, honor and duty, promote democratic procedures, develop ideals of citizenship and community service, provide a forum for students' opinions and suggestions, and to promote a positive community within the student body.
Our History
Our PRHS Student Council was officially created at the end of the 2014-2015 school year. Previously known as the Student Government Association, the new and improved STUCO now includes committees such as Relay, Homecoming / Prom, Senior Class, Outreach, Advertising, and now a Care Committee. With the integration of the different ideas, opinions, perspectives, and help of our respective student leaders / representatives, we hope to uphold the Standard of Excellence and make 2022-2023 a school year to remember.
