Due to our content transfer from personal to GCPS emails, we will take YOUR frequently asked questions from our Registration Form and answer them HERE!
If I don't meet my points requirement will I be kicked out?
No!!! Here in Student Council we don't kick general members out OR give demerits! We want to ensure that our members can enjoy our events / activities while benefitting from them all at once.
Is there a limit on the number of Student Council members?
No! All students are welcome to join!! Our club is a space where everyone is included / has the opportunity to thrive. Our goal is to help our peers become better leaders and we can't do that without our general members!
What is the best way to get more STUCO information?
Student Council communicates best through our website, our Instagram (@stucoridge), and our new (GCPS email) Google Classroom!
When are STUCO meetings usually held?
We will always have our Student Council meetings on the THIRD TUESDAY of EVERY month!!! Our meetings usually start at 2:30 pm and end at 3:30 pm. We meet in either E110 or I110 - so please pay attention to our announcements!
What if I'm not able to make it to a meeting?
Student Council meetings are not mandatory! If you miss a meeting and want to know what you missed out on, the meeting slides will be posted on our StuCo Classroom along with the previous month's points form
How will I get announcements / information outside of meetings?
Due to additional GCPS restrictions this year, we have moved over to using Google Classroom for all STUCO information. Of course we also have our Instagram @stucoridge and this website.
